The Power of Your People: Leveraging Networks to Thrive in Change
Change is messy. It’s exhausting, and when you’re the one responsible for managing it—whether through leadership, knowledge-sharing, or advocacy—it can feel like you’re supposed to have all the answers. Spoiler alert: you don’t. I don’t. None of us do. But here’s the good news: we don’t have to.
Over the years, I’ve learned that the key to navigating uncertainty isn’t just resilience—it’s relationships. As a knowledge management professional at SNHU and an executive board member for Manchester True Collaborative, I spend my days bringing people together, breaking down silos, and making sure knowledge isn’t just stored—it’s shared, acted on, and used to drive change. And when everything around me feels like it’s shifting? I lean on my networks. The communities I’ve built—both professionally and personally—have been my biggest asset in adapting, staying grounded, and moving forward.
This session is for anyone who’s felt overwhelmed by change (so… all of us). We’ll talk about why strong networks matter, how to build them, and how to use them to make navigating uncertainty just a little less daunting. Expect real talk, practical strategies, and a reminder that you don’t have to do it alone.
Learning Objectives:
Turn Connections Into a Support System: Learn how to build and maintain a strong network that actually helps you navigate change—not just a list of contacts you never reach out to.
Collaborate Your Way Through Uncertainty: Explore how partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and community-building can help you stay steady and sustain momentum when everything else is shifting.
Lead Without Carrying It All Alone: Walk away with practical ways to lean on your network, celebrate collective wins, and make collaboration your secret weapon for leading through change.
